Working with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer  (London), Duch analysed the attitudes of the European public regarding smoking and health.  The report supported submissions that were being made as part of administrative hearings before the European Commission.

Kansas City Class action litigation (1986-88)

Duch assisted Baker and Botts (Houston) in their defense of a class action suit brought against the owners of a senior citizen facility. His contribution to the defense focused on assembling and analyzing public opinion data in order to gain insights into the attitudes of potential jurors regarding issues related to the trial.
